Vela Games

Vela Games is an ambitious and independent development studio, creating engaging, co-operative games that put players first. They strive to create service based games for enthusiast gamers that deliver genre-defining experiences. Based in Dublin and made up of industry veterans and passionate gamers, they are in the early phases of our first unannounced original IP project in the multiplayer space.

Vela’s founders are ex- Riot Games, ex-EA, and were heavily involved in creating League of Legends from the very beginning, having led Gameplay Production, launching LoL as the game’s Development Director, and heading up Insights with a PhD in player communities. Vela secured substantial funding in April 2020.
